On Wednesday afternoon, a great sadness fell over the village of Glinsk as the news filtered through that our great friend and valued clubman, Michael Tiernan, had passed away suddenly.

Glinsk Gaa club AGM was held in the school hall last Sunday evening. A large crowd attended the meeting, which was very well presented by club secretary Damien Brennan, with additional reports by Chairman Tommy Kenny and Treasurer Eamon Hegarty

Glinsk GAA is delighted to announce our new 160 space community carpark is due to open in spring 2026. Also under construction is a 80×50 meter All weather astro pitch which will be ready for use in summer 2026

So the Westport Sea 2 Summit has finished for the 7 lads but the Fundraising for Irish Hospice Foundation continues

It proved to be third time lucky for Glinsk Gaa club last Friday evening in the 2024 Junior ‘A’ North Board final in Milltown.

With heavy hearts and teary eyes, we prepare to say farewell to our friend and fellow club man John Dowd.
